Give Your Students Real-World Experiences
Many schools have trouble helping their students land internships–even unpaid ones. Our work-based learning model allows students to experience the real world while in class and under the supervision of their CTE teacher. This model allows students to apply what they are learning in class in real-time. The project for the client is made real through a first-person simulation. All the academic, technical, and soft skills your students are learning are made contextual.
Our practicum model is already supporting students across Texas who are getting experience while still in school. We do this through our curricula that feature interviews with industry professionals. For example, William Rodriguez’s students at Manor New Technology High School are working through our Web and Computer Animation curriculum. The industry professionals in the course provide credibility about what the students are learning, and some of William’s students who have earned the Web Animator certification have landed internships with animation studios in the area.
The global economy has changed drastically in just the last few years, and our work-based learning model prepares your students to succeed in the professional world. Help “future-proof” your students so that they are ready to take on new challenges after school, whether in further educational opportunities or professional endeavors.

Testimonials
My parents are really impressed that I am earning certifications while in high school, because I guess I hadn't properly explained to them that I was getting certifications until a couple months ago. I just kind of walked in the house with the certification. And my mom was like, "Where did you get this from?" And I said, "Oh, it's from my web design class that I've been taking for a couple months now." And I think she's just really proud of it because I guess she didn't know that my school offered something like that. As far as I know, we don’t have other certifications offered at the school.

Our campus is a 100% project-based learning school, so to see the model put to use on a level that was accessible to many more schools was highly encouraging. I found the ties into authentic experiences as seen through the lens of professionals to be refreshing. Embedding interviews from industry representatives was a great way to expose young scholars to the perspectives of those who are actually utilizing what’s being taught in the course. The way the certifications exemplify the process of animation is brilliant! As an added bonus, I promised them that I’d give any of my animators who received their credentials a first shot at the internships offered by some of our area studios and true to my word, we got them placed!

I had been using a very well-known program last year. In comparison, CTeLearning is more user-friendly. It is a great program with a great staff that will go above and beyond to make you and your students successful. The step-by-step videos make it easy for the students to do their assignments on day one.
I am excited not only for the kids but for their parents as well. They are utilizing this course not only to graduate but to put them in a better position after high school.
