David Jackson – Web Design – iWD Course Advisor

Steve Waddell • April 24, 2017

Creating the iWD Web Design course was a huge undertaking. As we do with all our course development, we first go to industry to learn what we need to teach. In the case of the iWD course, we looked to our friends at WebProfessionals.org and then to a broad community of designers, coders, and media developers.

What makes this fun for us is working with so many different professionals. Some of these industry types are talked into getting on camera as part of our “Expert Thoughts” videos.

David Jackson the owner of Tekkii (a Kansas City Web Development Firm) sat down with us at his offices. We cannot thank him enough for all the insights he gave us, on camera, we now share in the iWD course with the students.

The picture shows his face when we asked him the question “What did you learn the first time you did a web site for money?” His smile says it all.

Big thanks to the whole team at Tekkii for all their contributions and help in guiding us in our course development.

Have fun – Steve
