First High School Student to Receive New Web Design Industry Certification

Steve Waddell • March 8, 2017

Bragging rights go to Hempfield Area High School. Hannah Shiple is the first HS student to receive the new Web Designer Industry Certification from the WebProfessionals.org . Hannah got to intern with CTeLearning.com this summer and got the opportunity to take our new iWD Web Design HTML5/CSS3 course. Her head start allowed her the chance to sit for the proctored exam ahead of any other students in the US and set up her up to be the first. Hannah would like to give a shout out to Pat Valenti at HAHS for helping her get the internship that led to her having this industry certification.

Here is her interview with the founder of CTeLearning.com.

We would like to note that this also means Hannah is the first woman to receive the industry certification too.Now she has set the bar pretty high for all the other students who are in the iWD course this year to pass their exams and get their credentials.

We also want to thanks, Mark DuBois and the team at WebProfessionals.org for making this industry certification part of their catalog of professional credentials.

Again – Congrats Hannah

Have fun – Steve
