A Millennial Web Technologies Company CEO talks about STEM, industry certifications and his hiring practices.

Steve (our Founder) was off to visit with a STEM educator in central Missouri, and he arranged to have a web technologies entrepreneur who is an advisor to the SkillsUSA Web Design competition come along to meet the a rural technology class and the instructor teacher.

 

David Jackson is the owner of Tekkii a web  technologies and digital marketing company based in Kansas City. Needless to say, and with Steve around, there was quite a bit of conversation in about careers, STEM, and CTE. As the day went on David said some exciting things about industry certifications and how they impact his hiring decisions.

 

While at the school Steve took out his trusty Samsung Note and asked David the question “Do you look for industry certifications when you are looking for someone to hire?”.
